Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez (*1974, San José, COL/DE) reconfigures objects, historical forms, and rituals across various media to propose complex contemporary alternatives to their original functions and ideological associations. In doing so, her work aims to construct new structures that reshape how we read, order, and imagine the past, present, and future. The confrontations and collisions between the content, forms, and structures she selects and the transformations they undergo generate tensions that give rise to new dimensions of beauty and abstraction, situated between body, function, dysfunction, space, and object.
Feral Archives: A Techno Ritual of Burial and Becoming asks how knowledge and matter transform when subjected to the logic of the forest, a space that stores, forgets, roots through, decomposes, and reassembles. The work explores how digital traces can be transformed into new forms of temporality and materiality beyond control, access, and permanent availability. It opens a space where technology does not dominate nature, but enters into a relationship with it.
